The Top Item Upgrade Gurus Are Doing Three Things
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor or rings. This allows you to swap the item for one similar one, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the level of the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.
The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll their equipment into three attributes that include physical power, magical power and health. upgrade item boost the damage done by weapons and melee attacks while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To produce them, you'll need a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
During the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he is able to hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not affect the item's longevity. It's a great way for players who wish to get an edge in battle but don't want strain their wallets. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are several methods to get these stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players increase the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in the area. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be applied to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component also requires the purchase of a certain amount of items as well as a certain level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the first is where players can place an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each upgrade, the stats of the base item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will not be available for it. Also, when a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will have discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide more effects or an improved level of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that can enhance the stats of the item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Certain items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats, but more for the fact that it lets players get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor), the level of the item, the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory when you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
